COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. — Copper Mountain has put a date on the wall for the start of the 2026–27 ski season.

The resort’s official events calendar lists 26/27 Opening Day for Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, at Copper Mountain. The same page’s event copy invites guests to “drop in” that Friday to mark the start of the winter. Copper has not spelled out opening terrain, lift hours, or a weather-permitting caveat on that calendar entry as of this fetch — only the date and the celebration framing.

This is Copper Mountain in Summit County — not Ski Cooper, the separate Leadville area.
