Ticket Window: Snowshoe’s ‘Biggest Sale of the Year’ Isn’t Its Biggest Discount
Snowshoe calls it the biggest sale of its year: 20% off lodging and standard rentals for three-night winter stays. The fine print, and a deeper early-season package on the same deals page, make the math worth a second look.
The Snowshoe Flurry of Savings sale opened Thursday and runs Oct. 1-10, 2026, the window Snowshoe Mountain bills as its “biggest sale of the year.” Book by Saturday, Oct. 10, and the resort takes 20% off lodging and standard rentals for winter stays, plus what it calls “the best lift ticket prices during your stay.”
The headline number is real. How far it stretches depends on when you go, how big your group is and whether you hold a pass.
What’s in the sale
Per Snowshoe’s official sale page and booking terms:
- Lodging: 20% off participating Snowshoe-managed vacation rentals. “Not all lodging units are included.”
- Rentals: 20% off standard rentals.
- Lift tickets: the “guaranteed lowest price,” but only for dates you have lodging booked.
- Lessons: discounted adult and child group lessons by phone only, through the call center at 877-441-4386. The sale page does not publish the lesson discount.
- Stay dates: Dec. 18, 2026, through March 21, 2027, with a three-night minimum and 14-night maximum.
- Blackouts: Dec. 27, 2026-Jan. 2, 2027; Jan. 15-17, 2027; and Feb. 12-14, 2027.
Buyers must be 18 or older and purchase lodging to unlock the discounts. The offer can’t be combined with other offers and is limited to one use per customer.
The lift-ticket cap
For anyone hunting Snowshoe lift ticket deals, this is the catch: discounted ticket days equal the unit’s maximum occupancy times the nights booked. Snowshoe’s own example: a room that sleeps four, booked for three nights, unlocks 12 discounted ticket days. “Any additional lift tickets will not be sold at this time.” Cancel the lodging and the tickets become nonrefundable and the discount is void.
Snowshoe doesn’t publish the Flurry ticket price outside its booking engine, so “best price” can’t be checked against a walk-up rate. Its ticket page does say rates “are subject to change, buy in advance to save.”
The deeper deal next door
Here’s the debate. Among Snowshoe lodging deals, the biggest sale isn’t the deepest discount. Early Season Savings, for three-night stays from Nov. 25 through Dec. 17, lists 40% off Village lodging, 60% off lodging outside the Village, free lift tickets for kids 12 and under with a paid adult ticket, and 50% off young adult and adult tickets. Booking runs until Dec. 15.
The trade-off: early-season terrain depends on weather and snowmaking, and Snowshoe’s Nov. 25 opening is a target, weather permitting. Flurry covers the heart of the season, holidays excluded.
Pass holders, do the math
Snowshoe Unlimited pass perks already include 10% off Snowshoe lodging and 15% off standard rentals and group lessons. Flurry’s 20% beats both, but its terms bar combining offers. Call 877-441-4386 to confirm which discount applies to your booking.
Is there a Snowshoe season pass sale?
Not inside Flurry. But a pass deadline lands first: on the Snowshoe pass page at ikonpass.com, where Snowshoe’s site sends pass shoppers, Ikon Pass (adult from $1,449), Ikon Base ($1,019) and Ikon Session ($319) prices are listed to rise “after October 8.” Adult Snowshoe Unlimited Passes start at $619 and Midweek & Creek at $379. Snowshoe’s blog says local pass prices “jump in October” but has not published the new prices or the exact date.
Opening-day context
Snowshoe targets Wednesday, Nov. 25, weather permitting, to start the season, and says the new Shavers Center, replacing a facility that served the mountain for nearly 50 years, will welcome guests this winter.
Before you book
Flurry only covers Snowshoe-managed rentals. Our Snowshoe where-to-stay guide lists owners and property managers you can book direct, so you can price both sides before Oct. 10. The MTNinfo Snowshoe page has passes and lodging at a glance, the pass calculator runs Ikon against day tickets before the Oct. 8 increase, and the sale dates and Nov. 25 target are on the MTNinfo calendar.
